Weather conditions at Earlscliffe

The following data is taken from the weather station located on the roof of Earlscliffe house. The station automatically collects temperature, humidity, wind, rain and barometric data and feeds it directly to this web page.

The weather station was installed in November 2008 so it will take a little time to build up a backlog of data. However, the 'all time' records have been updated to include known extremes of temperature from the last thirty years.

The original position for the weather station was in the grounds, but this was shaded a bit by trees and this affected the wind and rainfall measurements. (Plus a spider had taken residence in the rain collector which didn't help. The spider has now been re-housed!)
